Millerton Lake is located in Fresno and Madera counties of California, USA. It was formed by Friant Dam on the San Joaquin River. The lake's average depth is around 50 feet (15.2 m) and its deepest point is approximately 319 feet (97.2 m). The lake has a surface area of about 4,900 acres (19.8 km²) and a capacity of 520,528 acre-feet (641.51 hm³). It is a popular destination for boating, fishing, camping, and other recreational activities.
